OREGON Magnum Gatorline Trimmer Line is ideal for professionals who need long-lasting, powerful tools to get the job done right. It quickly and easily cuts through low grass and grass-like weeds yet is durable enough to tackle sizable brush without breaking. This trimmer line is less likely to bond together in the trimmer head due to its weld-resistant outer layer. .095" diameter trimmer line is an ideal fit for many string trimmer models, including but not limited to: Echo SRM 235 and SRM 230, Stihl FS 56 RC and FS55 R, Husqvarna 128LD, DeWalt DCST970X1, Ryobi RY253SS and Troy Bilt TB 22. Magnum Gatorline is compatible with most trimmer head systems including fixed-line, semi and automatic bump-feed heads. Additionally, it fits most gas, electric and battery-powered curved and straight shaft string trimmers. Check your string trimmer manual for recommendations and to ensure that larger lines will work with your trimmer.

I run a lawn mowing business and have tried many trimmer lines. This is far and away the best line I've used. It last way longer than any other line I've tried. It feeds with no problems also, and is really durable. I don't really find any difference between round lines and lines with a geometric shape like squares and triangles. The round line is less likely to jam in the feed head and it winds onto the feed head easier also. Don't waste your money on other lines.

I bought this line after watching a youtube video showing durability testing of various string trimmer lines. The video concluded that line with a durability focused inner core performed best.

I bought Oregon .095 Magnum Gator line and Cyclone .095 line at the same time. I was trying these against the infamous Stihl .095 Commercial Square Green line. The trimmer I use is Stihl 4Mix system. It has several attachments ...hedge trimer, pole saw, string trimmer, and blade edger. It makes short work of most jobs with the power it has. I have cut stone curbs at the street and use the string trimmer for vertical edging most of the time..as it is faster than the blade edger. The reason for trying these lines was ,I was dissatisfied with the Stihl .095 green line. It was strong and lasted......but it also broke at the line holder, which caused me to repeatedly, stop and restring. What was happening was , though the string lasted...all the bending took place right at the trimmer head and though there was still several inches outside of the head..it would break and here we go again!. My test with the Cyclone and the Oregon has shown me that the stiffest line is not always the best...unless your only doing grass. I would recommend the Oregon Magnum Gaterline as a better alternative...It flexes down all the string and wears well and the only time I've had to restring was because of my own dereliction of duty! If there is a down side to the Oregon...it may use a little more line...if your working hostile stone curbs....but that's a small cost to repeatedly restringing....

I was using Stihl premium round, 0.95 before I started using Oregon Magnum Gatorline. All I can say is this stuff is TUFF, really tuff. It works well bump feeding as well. Stiffer line than I was using before, but this line lasts alot longer before having to bump feed. I give this line, 2 thumbs up! I would buy this product again, no hesitation at all. I am currently using on a Stihl FS94R trimmer.Oregon has gained a new customer with this line.
