These trellises were so pretty that I absolutely needed them in my garden. These were the simplest structures to assemble—all you have to do is slide to short poles together to make a larger pole and add the spiral onto it; no tools were necessary as evidenced by the instructions (see photos). After I put the spiral trellises together, however, I was a bit shocked (see photo). In all the pictures, the trellis looks like a beautiful Christmas tree through which your plants can grow (see photos). In reality though, if you assemble these trellises completely according to the instructions, then your trellises are **not** going to look like the pictures. From what I can tell, it appears that when the manufacturer photographed the trellises, they actually reduced the height of the pole—taking away at least two bars—in order to get the Christmas tree effect. And if you want your trellises to look the same way, then you’re going to have to do the same thing. Unfortunately, this is something that I had to figure out on my own.Do these trellises still work? Yes! But once again, if you’re growing a lot of climbers in one spot, the vines might have trouble finding the metal spirals if you keep the height. If you reduce the height, the smaller trellises will work perfectly for vining plants, provided that they don’t grow tall. Based on the pictures provided by the manufacturer, I presumed that the trellises would look exactly like that. These trellises can still be used, but you’ll likely need to modify them to suit different plants.

Im trying mine with tomatoes! I swirly trellis of cherry tomatoes is kind of an amazing thought! The trellis comes in a very small package considering how big they become. The center pole was easy to assemble by screwing them together and the. The spiral is caught on bolts at the bottom and lifted all the way up to be linked into the top of the center pole. Im not gonna lie getting the spiral to stretch all the way to the top was a feat of strength but once I got the spiral stretched out a bit it got easier. The trellis was easy to put in the ground and it adds great height to my garden. I love the multipack since you’ll definitely want more than one of these for your garden to go vertical!
