Snug fit is good. Knocked off one star simply because I haven't used it much yet. But fit on tractor & Bush Hog is perfect. No complaints at this point.

After installing a quick hitch on my tractor I had to have a PTO Extender for my bush hog, This fit and lined up perfectly, Been using it for over a year with 0 problems so if you need one you can buy this with confidence that it'll last!!

I have a 20 hp compact tractor and a small 42" rotary brush cutter (very small for small tractor and blades are getting hard to find). The PTO shaft is short to accommodate the small tractor. I bought a 45 hp tractor and didn't yet have a cutter and needed to wait on buying a bigger cutter. I priced a longer pto shaft and decided to give this extender a try. The short pto shaft needed at least 2" and as you can see in the photos it extended the reach by 4". My concern was that this extender may be flimsy and add too much vibration to the driveline. This extender is heavy duty, has the same spline and the same release button. After cutting tall thick weeds, brush up to 1 1/2" diameter, limbs, roots etc. and approximately 30 hours of use I have no worries and have nothing but praise for this HEAVY piece of equipment accessory. No concerns of the minor added vibration as it was monitored closely as are the seals at each end without leaks so far. I'll remove it and use it for my post hole auger when I get the bigger cutter.

I cut a $300 PTO shaft too short. THis saved me a TON of money. Well built and easy to use. Add some grease to both ends for easier install.

I have an old tractor so I need a Overrunning coupler. This creates 3 couples between the PTO shaft and the tractor. What happens is, the universal joint on the PTO shaft has a little wiggle to it (best I can describe). PTO shaft connects to the PTO extender (a bit more wiggle), then that connects to the PTO Overrun Coupler, then that connects to the PTO itself. All these couple together creates a bit of play. This creates a very slight "bow" when PTO is spinning under load. It JUST SLIGHTLY makes the entire shaft flex (bow) a little. I just use a 4 foot bushhog on about 10 acres about 4 times a year and I have not observed any damage to the PTO or anything like that but a 4 foot bushhog is not a lot of load. I imagine the more load you have the more flex it creates which can slowly cause more then typical wear on your PTO.
