The My Melody case I received looks exactly like the photos with the darker pink bow on her head. Some pictures show a light pink, but mine is the darker, so I don't know if this case comes in different versions. It's very well made of thick, smooth vinyl. The stitching is secure and the two sides are thickly padded. The zipper is pink with a plain silver pull, and functions smoothly. It's fairly roomy, with light pink waterproof lining, and has several pencil slots. It may be able to serve as a compact makeup bag, with the slots holding eye and lip liners. The case measures as stated and I highly recommend it.

Our 8 yr old niece is a Hello Kitty fan and loves this little pencil/pen case. It's nicely made with good thickness on the plastic. Zipper works good as well...thumbs up.
