like others have said, there are so paint chips/shavings that come in the bowl etc, so take it apart and blow it out with brake cleaner/air.. that being said it woke my 70cc sport pro zuma up BIG TIME over my dellorto 17.5mm, and at half the cost.would recommend ordering the manual pull choke thats recommended to buy with it.The main jet size is a little weird.. they are 5mm x .8mm pitch (checked it at a hardware store)5 stars so far

Overall good carb but the pilot jet does not have a slot to tighten or remove it. Fortunately mine removed itself and I was able to cut a slot to replace it. Other than that the carb seems to be good quality. I did not find any metal shavings as others have mentioned.

Very cheap universal fit with air filter. Great for scooters or small go carts.

This carb is functionally pretty darn good. Hooked up and connected the throttle cable and after spooning a little fuel into the cylinder of the engine itself and starting that way I got the carb fully rocking. Fit just perfectly fine to replace my real Dellorto for the time being. Transferred my real Dellorto parts over to it as a side note though.Now the reason it’s a three star carb. The whole carb arrived looking like junk. Paint was scratched and damaged in multiple spots, large and small metal shavings everywhere. I popped the bowl and found more down there. Thankfully some carb clean and patience I got it looking good, very much you get what you pay for. The adjustment screw is kind of junky but it works. The choke isn’t what I thought it would be. We will see how long this lasts, just buying time to rebuild my 21 DSFinally, just a FYI to future shoppers, the filter doesn’t even fit this carb. Granted I’ll be rocking a malossi soon

Smaller 17mm racing version of the 19mm DS carb. Looks to be good quality but was full of trash and metal shavings. Be sure to thoroughly clean inside and out and completely disassemble before doing so. Dont use carb clean. It will ruin the paint finish. Use simple green or WD-40

This was used to replace a discontinued carburetor on the old yamaha razz mopeds and it worked great.
