Im always a little scared to plop inexpensive batteries into a $4K camera.... But these work well. I mostly use them as back up insurance and generally shoot with OEM batts. The other day I accidentally used one of these and it worked great! No noticeable difference and HS frame rates all maxed out! I guess I'll use these more often! Charger is nice to have a 2 port charger. Pretty basic but works well. No reason to be scared of these!

I'm a pro photographer that has been in this biz for quite awhile so I have seen my share of 3rd party batteries I've gone through in the past with the conclusion being that almost none of them work as long as the Canon's when they are new. But when they are literally half the price of the Canon and perform even significantly less than Canon's it makes them a great deal particularly when you are using them for spares. I have an R5 and R5 mark II.When the R5mk2 was released, I was told by very competent people that not one third party battery worked properly in it. Now I can confirm, at least with these that they do act just like Canon's do to the camera. When I say that I mean the battery remaining percentages work as they do with the Canon batteries in the menu and that you can also charge these batteries IN the camera as well. I took a 7 week vacation last summer in Asia and didn't bring one Canon battery charger. I just plugged a USB C cable into the camera and charged it that way instead. One less thing to carry. I am leaving shortly for another month long trip and will do the same again.IF you have one of the other Canon cameras that take this battery, do not hesitate to get these. The new batteries just have more power than the older ones which is why they made the change as the R5mk2 needed the extra. These batteries are very solid feeling. The weight is exactly the same - 82 grams. For those who don't know, battery weight is a great indicator of good storage when you are comparing Lithium ion batteries. So the heavier the better. FYI, the markings are different but with the weight/structure being identical, is it possible these are the same OEM that Canon uses? The charger - I have a cable and port that can do 100w of charging power that's been tested to confirm repeatedly. I tested this unit and with it charging both batteries simultaneously, it did 6 watts. With just one in, it did 4. Moral of this story, if you need a batter ready again quickly, just charge one at a time in the charger. However, in camera, one of these batteries was charging at 7 watts a second so it was the fastest solution. I wish I could tell you the speed of the Canon charger but I don't know how accurate the AC power read feed would be.Notice that when the battery is charging in camera, there is a green light that comes on in the back. You can see the upside down 7 in the image.

I’ve been using Canon LP-E6 batteries for over 15 years and have tried more brands and chargers than I can count. These Digital Power batteries work flawlessly in both of my Canon DSLRs and are properly chipped to register as genuine Canon batteries. The charger is fast and efficient, and the dual charging slots make power management and shoot prep much easier. The overall build quality is excellent—these feel like exact replicas of the name-brand versions, but at a fraction of the cost. An outstanding value and a great product all around.

Detects and works fine on the R5m2 to get features needed with a P battery. Can't speak on how these will last long term, but they seem to work fine for casual shooting. At least as fine as other third party batteries I'm currently testing also.

Not many people get excited for camera batteries, they just don’t. I have to admit I’ve been spoiled by K&F Concept and Ilano chargers though, they’re solid chunky carriers that also charge and hold spare SD Cards, luxuries really. One thing that isn’t a luxury is actually charging the batteries, the charger included is very very lightweight, which could be a good thing, but after leaving the batteries on there for four hours the screen registered they were still charging and holding at three out of four bars.I decided to test them in my K&F Concept and Ilano and they said fully charged. I rechecked the contacts and slid them back in to the included charger and it started over from one bar again, I can’t say I trust that charger as far as I could throw it.The batteries are heavier (they’re LP-E6P and my others (I have theee other sets) than my LP-E6 and LP-E6NH; which is encouraging.I’m going to fully test them this weekend on a four hour event I have locally, but just running video and shooting some test stills at home last night and today they seem to be holding up rather well!So if you get these, get the batteries and avoid the charger entirely.

I can always use extra spare batteries for my Canon R5. I use the Canon BG-R10 battery grip with my R5, so I like to get batteries in pairs. This is a nice bundle because it comes with an extra, two-battery charger as well. The price for the two batteries & charger is about half of the price of one OEM battery, so it's a very good value. Will these last for as many shots as my OEM batteries? It's too early to tell, but my experience with other 3rd party Canon-compatible batteries tells me I should expect to get about 85% of the shots as when using the OEM batteries. At a fraction of the price, it's a very good trade-off.

These are good, cheap batteries, great to have as spares for trips and I would happily buy them again! They are recognized by my Canon bodies as LP-E6Ps and I've had zero issues with using them so far. The function as well as my older OEM Canon batteries, and the included charger works well too.At $40, you're getting a lot of value for this set, and I'd say they're good in most settings except for high value professional shoots.

These batteries work great with my Canon EOS R6. No issues with these batteries. I am not a fan of the charger, but I happen to own the llano charger, which works great with these batteries. Battery life seems to last without draining quickly. Overall, not bad for the price for these batteries.
