My paddle weighed 8.2 ounces, which I would place in the medium weight category. This is an elongated design which some experienced players like for the extra reach, and leverage. I don't recommend this shape for beginners unless you have a racket sports background. Wide body racquets are more forgiving for beginners. I would put the power level at medium as well. The surface has texture, but it is noticeably less than the Joola paddle that I play with. The spin was OK, but nothing exceptional. The 50% off coupon makes this a great buy. I did check the USAPA approved paddle list, and unfortunately this paddle is not currently approved, so removing one star for that.

I don't have a lot of experience at pickle ball so keep that in mind. This paddle is nice looking. It has a black face with a light AP logo and a purple and pink trim with a black handle. It weights 8.1 ounces, which feels good in my hand. It has the elongated handle preferred for two handed backhand. The paddle surface has a fine grit feel to it. The grip has a standard soft tape wrap. I have a similar paddle that is heavier and I prefer this to that one.

This is a nice pickleball paddle! First, the handle is slightly longer than on other paddles I've used, which makes it more comfortable. Second, when I'm just bouncing the ball up and down on the paddle, it is not as noisy as other paddles. Something about the design makes that 'pop' a little quieter. Third, it's cute - I love the pink and purple around the edges. Overall, a nice paddle.

That was my whole review in the title haha. Seriously though I absolutely love this lightweight paddle. I got my husband the gray one and I got the pink and purple one. The grip is superior to my other paddles. The carbon fiber is going to make the ball bounce and make that nice popping sound that you like to hear and get addicted to when you play pickleball. I am so excited to get these paddles! They're superior quality and the case is too! It's very cushy and protective and the zipper works well. Highly highly recommend these paddles from this brand!

Love the fun two-tone pink/purple colors on paddle rim. The paddle is lightweight and has great grip. The paddle appears to have features that a quality paddle needs to earn the USA Pickleball Approved designation as printed on paddle. However, after checking both USAPA and UPA-A websites, no approval was found. Disappointing, but I can still have fun on the courts if I choose to use this paddle. Overall, 3 stars for the big approval misprint on paddle.

Good pickle ball racquet for those with smaller hands. It is light and maneuverable with nice balance for beginners. It is lightweight and seems well made. At 4.5 inch grip it would be good for those with smaller hands. It has a pretty smooth surface and satisfying pop when you hit the ball in the sweet spot. Currently with a 50% off coupon it is a steal.

Compared to another paddle I have, this is thicker and supposed to provide more control. I outed less. The sweet spot may be about the same. Light-weight.
