I ordered this Pickleball set in late February. It was April before I was able to get on a court and learn to play.Pickleball has exploded in popularity to the point tennis courts are repurposed for Pickleball, new courts are in the budget for our parks, and being able to play is less a matter of lining up a reservation at a court, but all about who you know in the Pickleball community.As a lifetime tennis player, Pickleball sounds easy and fun. Like ping-pong with an oversized paddle and whiffle balls. It is in fact challenging in its own right.I had my new Pickleball equipment evaluated by my friends who are all Pickleball aficionados. The paddles got high marks for the ergonomic grips, the “rebound” of the paddle surfaces, and the obvious quality of the paddles. Some thought the paddles are a little narrower width-wise, but I confess I can’t see it, and to-date it has not impacted my playing. The functionality of the paddles is great for beginners and supports players improving skills.The soft-sided case is good - there is ample space inside for two paddles and four balls with room to spare. There are two mesh pockets - one outside on the front and it’s twin on the inside. These are perfect for carrying gloves, towels, day court passes, all the extras. The case has a handle at the top, as well as an adjustable carry strap on the back, for slinging the case over the shoulder.Two types of balls are included - green with larger holes making the ball slightly softer and easier to “grip” with the paddle allowing better manipulation of direction and force.The yellow balls have many smaller holes, making for a more rigid surface, taking more finesse on the part of the player but with rewards in spin and ultimate location. This ball is a good step up helping players with improving skills.Very technical talk for an easy and simple game, but it is an easy game with the ability of the player to increase their control for different game levels. Pickleball is a fun, highly sociable game. Its popularity allows players to find new friends and exercise in a fun way.This equipment is great for a beginner starting out, and allows the player to rise in skill level without purchasing a new set. It a good value for the money.

I'm new to Pickleball and wanted a set that I could use if I ever needed my own equipment. And, this one does the job and is perfect for those who are new to pickleball!The paddles themselves are pretty good. They aren't too heavy, but do seem a tad narrow. They aren't my favorite paddles, but they do the job well.This is a nice set to have everything in one place for a very reasonable price. If you're getting into pickleball and want your own set, this is perfect!

I have never played pickleball before, but we have some new courts near our house and wanted to try. The weather isn't warm enough to get out there yet, but when it is, I'll be ready with this set. The paddles seem to be of very good quality and it's nice that the balls and bag are included.I really like the simplicity of the paddles. They aren't flashy or childish looking. Just a sophisticated neutral design. The grips feel good in the hand and are easy to hold.

I received these two Pickleball paddles in just a couple of days. As soon as I opened them, I noticed the instant scratching roughness of the surface of each of them and they seem less wide than the Pickleball paddles I’m used to using. I was excited to try these out after several days of being rained in and not being able to play. I decided to try with the white one because I thought that would be easier for me to see when I need to volley the ball back. At first, I found that there seem to be a very narrow sweet spot. Several times the ball just leaked off of the edges with a dull sound. That usually means not much punch. As I continue to play and warm up the white surface that reports to be Teflon, was a little better to play, but they’re not my favorite paddles out of the box. I liked that they are USAPA approved and designed in the USA. The second paddle has a white hand and black face with the same roughness. It’s a charming set. They also came with two yellow indoor balls and two green outdoor balls and a nice large carrying case with strap. Lightweight and easy to play with though the jury is out on sustained high performance.

This set is an amazing deal! It comes with two paddles, four balls (two indoor and two outdoor), and a carrying bag. Is it as nice as a midrange name-brand paddle or a carbon fiber paddle? No, but if you're looking for your first paddles or upgrading from a wood paddle, this is a fantastic beginner set at a great price.I got these for my kids so they wouldn’t have to use the wood paddles that came with the net, and they’ve been a big upgrade. The paddle face has a decent texture, making it a solid choice for casual play. Highly recommend for anyone getting started with pickleball!Update: We've been playing with these paddles and having a good time. We went to some outdoor courts recently and some snobby players on another court insisted that our outdoor ball from this kit was really an indoor ball. Even when I showed them an indoor ball and compared the two. They basically forced us to use their ball even playing amongst ourselves. I'm buying some USAPA certified outdoor balls now so we don't get judged so hard but I think the balls that came with the kit worked just fine for casual play.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this pickleball paddle set looks in person. The color and design are simple but really eye-catching without being too flashy. The paddles themselves are super lightweight, which makes them easy to swing and comfortable even during longer games. They have a good-sized sweet spot, which is great for beginners like me still working on accuracy. It also comes with four balls and a handy carrying bag, so it’s a full set ready to go right out of the box. Definitely a solid choice if you’re just getting into the game or want something fun and reliable to play with.
