The price has come down from $20 to $15 since I ordered this a few months ago, which seems more reasonable. Aside from its cheapo photocopied instruction sheet, this is a nicely put-together kit with decent hanging-hardware options. I wound up bypassing those options: I simply used a steel laundry hook with a strong spring clip to grip the trainer's metal carabiner clip and then hooked that whole rig over the curtain rod already installed in an extra-wide open doorway between my living and dining rooms. That only took a couple minutes to figure out and implement and then a few seconds to take down and put away, and it's working well for me.Since my side-to-side space is limited, I'm finding it's best to stand in the dining room to drill backhands and in the living room for forehands. I'm getting good eye-hand-coordination practice and good practice reacting quickly, though this setup isn't giving me anything approaching a realistic experience of making shots on a court. All in all, this makes it fun to hit indoors for a few minutes whenever I want to, which can only help my game.

I recently began playing pickleball and I needed to refine the motor skills needed to improve. This trainer comes with several methods of mounting both inside and outside the home. For me, the best way was to mount outside so I would not damage the door frame or any furniture. It comes with a glue mount and a permanent mount that you can screw into a wall or door frame. I found it useful to refine the hand and eye coordination necessary to be a better player.

There are multiple ways to hang this, making it easy to put where you want to use it. My pickleball skills are sadly lacking so I wanted to order this so I am not quite so embarrassing when we play with our friends. My husband put it up in the garage easily. It is nice and easy to use. I don't know if it is actually improving my skills, but I do think I am slowly starting to hit with more accuracy.

My kids and I use this all the time. I mounted it in the den and practice solo and 1 on 1 hitting the ball back and forth. It comes with a few ways to affix it but I chose to use a preexisting hook I had. The ball is a regular ball and it sturdy with an easily adjustable cord that can be quite long if you need it to be. Over all I am very happy with is and come spring my pickleball game is gonna be great.

Sorry but I'm not seeing much value in this pickleball trainer. It can potentially help with hand and eye coordination at home. But that could also be done by indoor/outdoor drills like bouncing a pickleball on a paddle while flipping paddle sides, rolling a PB on a paddle, etc. This trainer is helpful because the woven nylon cord prevents the ball from rolling away. But I think the cord also causes the ball to jump around in seemingly unrealistic ways - tying the cord at the top of the ball seems to help. The cord length adjustor is handy, and the mounts make it convenient if you're willing to attach a hook to a wall. Many months ago, a friend gave me a pickleball on a long white string that served the same purpose. I opened patio doors, tied the string to the curtain rod above them, and practiced hitting the ball. I liked it better than this set up probably because I had no expectations and the materials cost about $1.

I was able to attach this to my clothesline pole to use outside. It comes with multiple ways to hang it up and a lot of extra cable. You could put it on the side of a garage or in a rec room. I didn't really want to put it up indoors and you can unclip the ball to put it away when you are done as well!

This is good for basic hand eye coordination training. With a shorter string it can help train for reaction time. That being said, it does not follow the normal bounce or travel path for a pickleball. Being on a string instead of elastic cord the path is more pendulum shaped. When someone hits a ball back to you it is not going to be moving up as it approaches. But, like I said, it still teaches you to keep your eye on the ball and improves hand eye coordination so that is good. Also, unless you use the metal hook and secure it to your door frame you can hit it too hard and it come detached from the frame. The adhesive or metal plate does not fit correctly on a framed door no matter how you try to attach it. So, you will have to find another way to attach it in that situation. But, it does fit in a door way or passage where there is no actual door. The stops along the inside of the doorway if there is a door keep it from fitting correctly. So, the idea is good and it does teach good hand eye coordination and teaches to keep your eye on the ball. It works well for that purpose.
