Our previous pencil dispensers were made out of metal, and needed springs to help it work. After a year, the springs broke, and the dispenser was in operable.This one is perfect! No springs to break and you can see when it needs to be refilled. Got the pack of two and now I have a back up just in case…

I would recommend taping off the top because kids will still try to get pencils that way instead of turning the knobs, but other than that great for the classroom!
