Definitely a good alternative to my ACH style headgear out in the field. Good OCP/ACU pattern that’s not ‘off’ like most aftermarket equipment. It keeps the fatigue factor down while conducting field training exercises. Not ballistic material, so don’t think this will protect your grape when the bullets start flying. It’s about a pound less with similar build of my issue gear. Skirts AR670-1 like a mug!
