It's exactly as described and does it's job. It took a few tries to use it right, but that was user error. With the smaller one it jammed quite a bit so you had to shake it to loosen the pearls and sometimes got two instead of one. Would still recommend but just a warning

L’applicateur de perles ne fonctionne pas. Les perles ne sortent pas car elles restent coincées à l’intérieur et le couvert de la boîte pour perles ne reste pas fermé.

Worked well for the most part. I had a couple candies jam it it. Not the fault of the applicator, but the beads. I suggest before filling the hopper, inspect you candies a weed out the largest ones. I’m happy with the purchase

When it worked it was very nice and helpful. Got jammed a lot and would have to shake it. But was still easier than using a tweezers to place pearls.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong and need to practice more. I find these difficult to use and the nonpareils stick, then when it does loose, it shoots across the room. I had a mess and wound up using tweezers to add the nonpareils to my cake. I’m not giving up yet, but they are more irritating than useful on my first impression of them. I will update again after I try again.

Didn’t work. Beads wouldn’t come out properly. Terrible cheap product. I would not recommend.
