1/2 of it sank to the bottom from the beggining so probably it was dead already because it is a floating plant so make your calculations accordingly and is smaller that any other duckweed I have seen before.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered it, my goldfish in my pond love and eat it all over time. It is a swamp plant so by nature it is very stinky in the package. I mean super stinky- wear a mask, I'm surprised the post office delivered the package both times. But, it is indeed duckweed, very healthy, bag was packed full, propagates in the pond, looks great and makes my goldfish look like little alligators when they come to the surface. I will definitely order more when they eat it all again.

when it came it looked healthy but had an odder (smelt like stagnant water). I put it in my koi pond but within 2 hours it all turned white and died. it may have been the heat when in travel to me (it was about 86F the day it came), but I have never had this happen before.

5/11/2020: Very stinky but otherwise seems healthy.5/13/2020: The sun was shining yesterday and that seems to have killed all of the duckweed. I only reduced to 3 stars because I just dumped it all in the pond and maybe there were instructions that I didn't read.

It didn't arrive healthy. A good portion was slimy green mush.

Only problem I have is my Koi eat it faster than it can reproduce.
