Does better than the automatic one that I bought. I always manage to drop debris back into the pool when I pull the vacuum out of the water.

I bought this last year for jacuzzi and finally just used it and it doesn’t work. My fault for not trying it last season but I assumed there wouldn’t be any problems. I have tried to get ahold of company but no luck.

This is a nice vacuum, I purchased to clean my pool so I didn’t have to get my bigger cleaner (Wanda the Whale) out all the time. I’ve used this almost every day since I bought it & it appears to pick up the dirt off the bottom of the pool quite well, however, there’s always more dirt the next day!! I’m not sure if it’s new dirt or the vacuum is just dispersing it & it just settles back down. 🤷🏻♀️ The basket seems to be a good size to pick everything up but the filter is teeny tiny & it’s full after going over 1 little pile of dirt (I’m talking dime size or smaller)!! It also says not to run it out of the water so I have to be sure to turn it off then get it out before any of the dirt runs back into the pool. I have no trees on my property but I get leaves & junk from my neighbors tree all the time. This year has been the worst ever for dirt & debris it seems. I do like this vacuum, it’s easy to use, however, I don’t think it’s worth almost $100!! I only paid about $150 for Wanda & she’s bigger & motorized!! I could return it but I’ll probably just keep it & hope for the best!!

It works great, suction good, easy to use and all that BUT once you turn it off, the debris falls back into the water. I tried not turning it off until I got it out, but that didn't work so I tried taking it out with a net to catch the debris and that worked, but this is a waste of time to vacuum it out only to watch it go back in the pool. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'm returning it.
