These will do, but only in a pinch because I couldn't find the square ones I usually use, anywhere, in pool shops or online, for our salt water pool. These ones don't fit the skimmer well and depending how they are positioned, will either block the flow through the skimmer if horizontal on the bottom of the basket, cause filtrate to clog it up if attached to the side or stress the basket if attached vertical to the bottom. But I had to have something to prevent corrosion, and this will do that.
