I am not a camper, but I do live in Central Texas where our power grid can be unreliable in inclement weather. Having a charged light source is a nice secure feeling. This light took a few hours to charge. The light feature is strong enough to read by. I have used it to guide my way outside in my unlit yard and I could get around just fine. I just used the light feature, not the flash light. The flash light did not offer as broad a light display, so I will probably always go to the light feature. While the different light tones may be appealing for others, I just want light, I don’t care what the coolness is. Since I don’t camp, I don’t know how important it is to have the emergency light feature, but I do think the options for that light are overkill. You either need the emergency light or you don’t…you don’t need degrees of emergency light, right. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. So while this has a lot of bells and whistles, so to speak, the most important thing to know, is that you can depend on the charged light source when you need it.

This camping light is likely to have more uses, such as a focused flashlight, a variable brightness work light, and warning flashers with three different modes. The control buttons are labeled, and with a bit of experimentation, you can overcome any minor issues. It appears to be well-built and is housed in a stylish case. It’s rechargeable through a USB cable.I’ve placed this light in my car for easy access. I highly recommend considering it.There are three control buttons. An attached picture illustrates which button corresponds to which. Pressing the emergency on/off button wakes it up. Pressing it again cycles through various colorful red/blue lighting patterns. Moving to the center “large face button” turns on the solid white light. Holding that button causes the light to brighten significantly the longer you hold it. Pressing the last button turns off the face light and turns on the two flashlights. The emergency on/off button shuts everything off. It may seem a bit complicated, but it works effectively. I’ve grown to like this light.

This class of light is positioned as primarily a camping lantern with decent battery life that can usually last through the week's camping use under regular conditions. The light has several color temperatures from warm to white, and also emergency red/blue flash modes that mimics police flashing sequences (don't use it in your car while driving to be mistaken for unmarked police vehicle.) The light is infinitely adjustable and will remember your last brightness setting. The flip stand allows you to set the light on a flat surface and adjust angle. Hooks allow you to hang it up like regular lantern, and also 1/4 screw holes for stand mount. Couple draw backs or I would like to see improvements on: First the torch or flashlight option is just ok. It is bright enough, but for the battery capacity, the torch light could be better designed to have better throw and more lumens. Next the power bank function only has USB A output. USB C is for input only. Because of this, I would need to carry multiple wires including USB A-C cables to charge USB C devices. Overall still a very good option for the price, and works great as a table light when you need prolonged, consistent flood light.
