I've had other Powerextra branded chargers and batteries that worked well. This model is no exception.The styling on this one is slick. The batteries fit into entirely enclosed wells with a flip-top on the case, creating a stylish appearance and a fairly compact case.Digital displays for each of the two batteries indicate charge level and power output. Charging time seems to be pretty quick. The two supplied batteries were partially charged and topping them off didn't take long.One of the very finishing touches on this unit are the individual latches on the battery wells, insuring the batteries are in full contact with the charging points.Two SD (not microSD) card slots are embedded in the top cover.The user is expected to supply their own 5v power adapter which should be 20W or higher PD. That power requirement is important.Overall, an excellent product.Jerry

A lot of the newer Sony Alpha cameras (I own a couple of them!) run on the larger Z100 batteries. So it's nice to see a new "high tech" charger for the smaller FW50 batteries.By high tech, I mean not only does it charge the batteries quickly, but it offers a percentage screen to let you know how charged your batteries actually are. (In the past, you had to pop each battery in your camera to get that percentage.)This charger has a sleek, compact design and, thanks to its USB-C input, can be hooked to all manner of charging options. (NOTE: An AC "wall wart" does not come with the charger.) No worries though. I have plenty of options for hooking up the USB-C cable. And I'm looking forward to keeping this in my camera bag for fast charging, even when I'm out and about.
