Remote DOES work but no instructions. The APP also works a d you can find the QR code on the wite dongle. So, the remote has to be aimed at the QR code side, of the white dongle. The arrow buttons on the top left adjust frequency of the pattern and in some cases brightness. The Dongle is bluetooth as well so idk all the ins and outs, but I got it working. The white buttons in the middle cycle between different strobe patterns. The CS is a voice activated mode. Just experiment. Really wish there was a manual

do NOT buy this, the nose ratio to the mask is not good it fogs up easily ,definitely dose not work good in the cold, and the clear and the smoked glass dose not work go with your eyesight.. Dont Buy ...

So it looks really cool, and everything seems pretty well made except the straps that hold it on. I can't imagine them lasting too long.The plug for the LEDs could be in a slightly better location so the wire doesn't have to protrude out the bottom front of the mask.It's not the most comfortable thing to wear, the weight of it makes you have to pull the straps pretty tight which definitely makes the mask press against my nose quite a bit. However, that might just be my large nose. But either way the mask will need to be hugging your face pretty tight to prevent it from sagging. Might be able to build some counter balance into it with hoses and antennas or something. It's tolerable. I may end up adding some additional padding inside.But it will do it's task and it looks cool with a hood. I didn't realize it already came with a black face mask to wear under it. So that's a plus.Overall, I'm pleased with it. I'll be able to use it for a great costume.

The first helmet I received was broken, and I received a replacement the very next day, so FIVE STARS in that respect. Where it loses stars is the fit.1. The anchor points for the straps from the factory are COMPLETELY WRONG. Using the factory anchor points places the straps on the back of the neck and the helmet falls forward and does not stay on your face. I used other holes on the helmet not designed for the straps to relocate the anchor points so that the helmet actually stay in place on the face. For $100, this is RIDICULOUS.2. With the straps tight enough to keep the helmet in place, there is an erroneous connector molded into the center of the top of the visor that just DIGS into the top of your head. Why this connector is there in the first place will baffle historians for centuries to come. It’ll take some modification in order to make wearing this helmet for more than 5 minutes pain-free and bearable. Again, for $100, this is RIDICULOUS.3. The replacement helmet I received was not assembled correctly and I had to disassemble portions and reassemble them. Seems to be a theme here, for $100, absolutely RIDICULOUS.I’m going to keep it since I already did the work, but I would not recommend purchasing this helmet unless you have the DIY skills to fix these issues. There are plenty other on the market, so I’d look at those instead.

Within opening the box it didn't take me long to notice some wear-and-tear. A chip in the visor, chips in the "ears", a dent in one of the attachment plugs. To top that all off 3 of the lights burnt out within just hours of me seeing the customization features via remote.

I bought a biker like coat with a hoody with the correct looking pants to go with it. The costume was a big hit and I won our Halloween contest BUT BEWARE it is very scary to kids and some adults. Love the mask
