I'm the overwhelmed yet a happy owner of 8 RatCha's. 13 weeks old & have loved Purina Pro since they were off the Tit & Goats Milk. I tried all kinds of brands, but this seems to be the one they like the best.... but mind you, I also add my own meats, raw carrots, pumkin seed, sweet potatoes etc... plus semi raw organ meats (liver heart..) My family's never just counted on a canned food to sustain any animal we've raised in my 65 years. Would you feed your child just cold food from a can? As a filler the price is right when you live on a merger income.

Initially, when he first tried this dog food, our dog was enthusiastic about it. But over time, he seemed less and less inclined to eat it. The later cans seemed identical to the first ones, so I checked the ingredients. They are mostly very good, but Purina inexplicably adds carrageenan to its pet foods. Why? Since our dog is older and has some stomach issues, we wonder if the inclusion of this known stomach irritant was the problem. Due to this ingredient, we won't reorder.
