First, if you only have one 8x8 floor space, purchase a cheap mop with an attached handle and call it a day. Many a floor, have I mopped. I've tried modern style mop handles, but I continue to use the original mop style. There's a reason they're still on the market. If you've never used this old style, here's why you should, but plan on making an initial investment that will last you a lifetime. Also buy a sturdy (yellow) mop bucket with a squeeze handle. Use this mop style for light mopping, rugged mopping, waxing and sealing. For tough stains, along with your cleaner, this soft yet strong cotton mop will remove them quickly (if they're possible to remove). You push forward/pull back with the strong mop handle and cotton mop. Regular mopping, grip the handle halfway with one hand, the other hand on or near the top. The lower hand easily swings the mop left to right to left to right as you step backwards. Using this method, the job is finished in no time. Also, this mop handle style makes mopping under beds, tables, anything with legs, a breeze. The handle has a nice finish and is comfortable to use. Loosen the wing nut, slip on the mop, tighten and use over and over and over again. Leave mop attached to the handle, rinse, hang up and allow mop with handle to dry between uses. Best tool for the job!
