We are returning this item as our instructor finds it uncomfortable around the neck.

This strap can replace your old peak design strap around your shoulders and still use the same hooks on the ends. It is compatible with the old PD hooks and can still use that on your camera. I got the blue colored version of this strap to add some flair to my camera. I have the PD that is black compared to the Blue Yullmu. The Yullmu works by pressing down on the plastic clip and pulling back so you can insert the buckle in. I do like the buckle design on the PD as it is more convient to operate but this is half the price so torn on getting rid of the old PD strap. My PD strap is wearing down on the rubber grip area but the Yullmu doesn't have any grip on it either in the middle area.

Product being reviewed: Yullmu Quick Release Camera Strap - Compatible for Peak Design Buckle 1.73 inch Wide Adjustable Length 198 lbs Load Capacity for DSLR Mirrorless Cameras Outdoor & Professional Photography (Black)I didn't like the strap that came with my Fujifilm X-T5 so I ordered this one by Yullmu. It's clearly inspired by the Peak Design version and shares many similarities. I don't have the PD version, so I'm just going based on what I see online. Anyway, this strap is comfortable to wear and relatively easy to adjust. If you need to adjust the strap down to make it longer, you can do this with one hand. If you need to tighten it, two hands are needed. It came with two PD style clips that are more angular than the round PD version. They seem to be similar (compared to my PD wrist strap) and are compatible. I have no idea what the included leather pads are for. I ordered the black version and it fits with my camera aesthetic very well. Last thing is the PD version of the locking mechanism is better. On the Yullmu, you need to press the lock down and pull back, but the mechanism is on the outside; if you get it caught on something, it could accidentally release. On the PD version, the lock is internal and you cannot accidentally release it. Overall, it's okay for the price (about half that of PD) but I worry about the locking mechanism. You'll have to decide if that locking mechanism is worth the risk depending on your equipment.

This could have been so good. I picked blue, and it's nice rich color. The leather they used is too cheap. It's too thin to last (we shall see). And while the capability of the strap to hold onto the camera may not be affected since the strength comes from the nylon strap, it just makes it feel cheap with the thin pleather.I do like the locking mechanism. But I'm concerned that its made of what appears to be glass injected nylon (guessing). I prefer metal hardware here. The way the strap adjusts takes a little getting used to, working out from the middle.I will update this review with more use.

The last few years, I have purchased several camera straps including those from Peak Design. Even though PD makes an excellent strap, I could no longer justify the cost. I had ordered this strap as possibly accepting a compromise in the quality but was attracted to the more reasonable price. Upon receipt, I found the construction to be very good even though the quick releases were a bit bulky. I often carry my cameras in a sling position and possibly due to the width of the strap, felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, only time will tell how well the mechanical connectors hold up on the release buckles. On a positive note, I was happy that this strap could work with the PD anchors.

I absolutely love this quick release camera strap. The Green color is vibrant and stylish, and the strap itself is thick and comfortable. It feels very sturdy and I'd trust that whatever I choose to hang on the strap will be held in place securely. My favorite feature is the quick release system, that allows the strap to be detached from the included anchor bands with a quick push of a button on either side. The system works very well and is easy and fast to use, making set-up changes, or even camera changes a breeze if you get additional anchors to attach to other devices. Couldn't be happier with this strap!

After getting a wrist strap by the same brand decided to try this out the connection is so secure. The only thing I like more is if the pull tabs were a better material.

You are getting a passable strap for this price. I would suggest spending more on a big name brand with a softer strap. The strap itself is a bit stiff, has some rough edges, and will dig into your neck if you don't have a collared shirt or jacket on.
