this is a simple setup and not complicated to use..I would recommend if you dont have or use wifi. setting up the drip line took some time and had to get more supplies. Was easier to connect tubing when the sun was shining.

Most of my garden runs on a pressurized drip irrigation system connected to my house's water supply. However, I have a container garden on my porch that typically consists of a mixture of self-watering pots, patio grow kits, and fabric-pot grow-bags. I usually water these by hand, but on especially hot days in the summer, they suffer more than my in-ground plants if I get a late start or end up away from the house during the peak of the heat. It's not hot enough for me to rely on this device, yet, but I've tested it with a bucket of water tucked away in the shade as the supply and it does exactly what I need. It pumps a prescribed amount (I dialed it in by playing with the timer and filling a measuring cup until the amount of water I wanted came out) through the system into each plant, at regular intervals. In the summer, I can imagine every 8 or 12 hours.While I COULD achieve this with my regular system, I do like keeping the patio setup separate, and it illustrates how nice it would be for someone doing exclusively patio gardening or who wanted to keep their houseplants watered, assuming they had a sunny location for the unit itself to charge and somewhere to put a bucket for their supply water.Very pleased with this system.

This irrigation pump makes watering plants while away so much easier. We don't travel often, but when we do, this will be a real help. The solar power is a nice feature, and it's good to know it's saving energy. The pump seems strong and distributes water evenly to all the plants. The different tubing sizes are helpful for setting up a custom watering system. The smart chip features are reassuring, knowing it will shut off if there's a problem. The one-piece design feels durable and looks neat in the garden. Setting it up was simple, and I didn't need any tools. This product is a zero do not buy. I have many irrigation systems. Can't get it to stop dripping yet can't get it to turn on.Back flow valve won't work. Had to use it without the valve. Candy see the control to tell if it working. Directions for use are the worst ever. Do not buy.In will be sending the back.

Nice system to keep your most sensitive plants alive while you're on vacation. You need to place the panel in the window for recharge, so it means moving all your plants around because the hose aint that long. Put a big enough water bucket and safely water your plants automatically.

Have used it for about a week will see how it lasts. Have used other products that quit working after after a few weeks so time will tell on this one. Good pressure and water flow to over 10 drip nozzles, furthest one is about 30 feet away.
