To save other purchasers the time I spent looking for a perfect fit toilet paper roll -- Mega rolls I had were too large in diameter -- the product I found that is just right is Cottonelle Ultra CleanCare. It is available from Amazon. I don't know about other Cottonelle products, but the Ultra CleanCare works.

I am thrilled with this tissue dispenser. I go through facial tissues like crazy so using toilet tissue instead will pay for this cute holder in no time. It is very well made, dispenses tissue smoothly and looks great as decor, certainly nicer than a roll of TP sitting on your coffee table or bedside table, so much prettier than a Kleenex box also. I am already tempted to buy another.

For this toilet paper holder, I have to take the cardboard out of the middle for it to dispense properly. This I believe is mentioned in the description. It is a little time-consuming, and sometimes difficult to do. I must always be sure to tear it off with a good length of it still coming out or it will fall back in and I have to dig it out again. It looks good and it has become automatic for me. When others tear it off I still have to fish it out. and I will always have to see around 5" of curled tissue hanging out.

I wondered why I was paying 20 bucks for a basket. Now I know! This is a beautifully made item for the bathroom. Construction is flawless. Seems very sturdy, and it's pretty. In my small apartment bathroom, it saves me from having to find a place to install the TP roll AND from having to look at TOILET PAPER! A bit of a fidget to remove the cardboard core from the roll, but the result is worth it. It would be a nice way to provide facial tissues at the bedside, too, so I'm buying another one!

It's a great idea and a nice looking basket but throw the lid away. The end falls down into the basket and you need to fish it out each time or pull the lid off.REVISION when I pull out some TP the roll flips over on its side when it is small and becomes a hassle. So I ordered this wood spindle screwed onto a circular base and glued it down into the basket, and it works fine. The spindle can be found under a tabletop tp dispenser search. The two items together are about thirty five bucks, but I'm happy to know that I'll never have to buy boxes of Kleenex. And, if you think about it, it's quite a conversation piece !!! 😎
