Your cart is empty.The RCBS MatchMaster Competition die sets are the perfect sets of dies for the precision handloader looking to craft the most precise round possible. The Full length sizing die utilizes RCBS’s precision-machined neck bushings to put the perfect amount of neck tension on each round. The titanium nitride coated expander offers silky-smooth case extraction and reduced brass build up on the expander both of which help reduce the amount of stretch on the case neck. Rounding out this exceptional set is the MatchMaster Competition Seating Die. What sets the MatchMaster seating die apart from the competition is the bullet seating window with bullet retaining system. Simply place the bullet in the window and raise the case into the die to seat the bullet. No more smashed fingers or misaligned bullets! Couple this with a micrometer adjustable, free-floating, self-centering bullet seating stem and you have the easiest, most accurate bullet seating die on the market. MatchMaster Sizing dies require appropriate RCBS neck bushings for the caliber you are loading (sold separately). To determine the proper neck bushing size, measure the outside neck diameter of a loaded cartridge and subtract .002” to .003” to allow for a small amount of brass spring back.

Really like these. Slim for a co-ax of other presses. Micrometer is solid. The stems are good for standard ogives, leaves marks on berger targets with high BC tho. Looking to see if RCBS has stems that match. TBD. Otherwise love RCBS dies.

Well made. Consistent sizing and seating depth. The functionality ease of adjustment and the window for dropping the bullet is very handy and a time saver. The price is decent as well.

The matchmaster seating due is a beautiful die, however, when not packaged separately from the sizing die, it gets pretty banged up. Some simple packaging precautions would solve this problem

These are match grade dies which require the purchase of a neck bushing to achieve your desired neck tension. Different brass has different case wall thickness resulting in the need to determine which neck bushing you will need. I would not recommend this set to the beginner reloader. With that being said I have been a huge fan of the RCBS matchmaster dies for years and this new generation of MM dies do not disappoint. I initially received what looked to be a returned product as they appeared to have tumbling media in the neck sizing die. Upon closer inspection I noticed the 6mm creedmoor NS die had been swapped for a .308 die. RCBS customer service is top notch and they had a new set of dies out to me in less than a week with return postage for the used set. This is not the first time RCBS has helped me and their fantastic customer service has made me a customer for life.
