First they are very thick. Second they fit very tight on the calf even for my 4 year old. They shrunk after washing. They shed, quality is not the best.

My daughter is a size 13-1 and when I first got these I didn't think they would fit. She tried them on and they worked well! They're warm so we use them for ice skating and sledding. I wash them on regular but air dry them. They feel heavy and good quality, especially for the price.

We (family with kids) backpack and car camp as much as possible. The more often we go, the more we think of ways to make camping/backpacking easier and comfortable for all of us. The adults have Realtree wool-blend hiking socks and LOVE them. It was time to upgrade our kids socks and wanted something a tad taller on the legs. When I found these it was an easy pick. We got both our daughter and our son a pack. No complaints. I like that they come up higher on the calf--better protection when hiking in long shorts during warm weather.Soft and comfortable.Be sure to hang them dry, though! They are made with wool. :)

fits perfect, very warm. used them for skiing socks (a little thick but good).need to take a little care when washing them so they dont get beat up, but kids like them, and they feel like quality.
