So far it seems like it’s good quality. However, the bolts that I received were not correct for the mounting holes. I had to go to my local hardware store to buy the correct ones.

Worth every penny. Very strong and works great for getting in and out of the bed of my truck. A little tough on the installation.

BEWARE!!! On my 2025 Tacoma, the mounting holes are 10mm x 1.25 (thread pitch), but the bolts that came with my order were 10mm x 1.5. If you’re not careful, you will damage the threads in the mount on the vehicle. My order might have been a one-off, but I was very glad I didn’t force things. I have a thread checker and that’s how I realized the bolts I received had the incorrect thread pitch. Not a big deal with a trip to the big box store I got the right size…but still a hassle and could have been much worse. Plus, ended spending an extra $10. It wasn’t worth going through the trouble of returning to Amazon and hoping a replacement would have the right bolts, so I kept it and bought correct hardware, as I said.Other that that, once installed, it works and looks fine. I do like that it folds away to almost nothing.EDIT: The seller reached out with an apology and made things right. This warrants a change in my rating because the product itself, with the correct hardware, is great!! And the follow through with their customer service was unsolicited, yet very much appreciated.

Super easy to install—took me less than 30 minutes. Feels really solid. It folds out and back in way smoother than my OEM bumper step. When deployed, it drops down and away from the bumper, making it an easy first step up to the tailgate. Super handy, especially if your truck has a lift.

This step works great on my 2024 Tacoma and fits perfectly. The bolts were a little tricky to start in the truck frame, so I picked up a handheld deburring tool from HF and that made installation much easier. Highly recommend—way better than spending $300+ at the Toyota dealer.
