Very good product, in the past when open the back window and stand there in the rain ,you get all wet. Now I stay dry.Read the instructions carefully, there are directions and position where to put it

Not waterproof. Water can and will seep through while window is in the closed position. It prevents the window gasket from making a proper seal due to it protruding through the glass and seal.

Maybe I made a mistake somewhere, but the tape doesn't fit in the gap between the roof and the rubber seal when the rear window is closed. It overlaps the rubber when the window is closed.

Super easy ONCE you figured out the instructions. The hardest part was the instructions.Went on easy, great fit on my 2012 JKU.Now to wait on the rain. It disappears when the window is closed and you don't notice it when the window is up.

A problem with the rear window on a JK is that there is a gap between the rear window and the roof, and if you open the window to load the rear of the vehicle during the rain, water runs down the window into that gap. This hood fills that gap, and channels the water to the sides. Comes with instructions to install (with pictures), although I found it is easier to install if you tear/cut only the adhesive backing paper at the center, and carefully install it from the middle first, one side at a time.
