Love this light, I'm planning on using it for on site photoshoots, and love that its rechargeable so I don't have to haul a large battery for it. The basics for using it is pretty straight forward, make sure to turn on the switch in the light then use the remote, and its got some pre programed settings. Anything a little more technical was confusing, since the instruction booklet it came with was very bare bones, but I don't think I need it for anything more than the presets anyways.

The light is relatively small. Also, when you plug it in, it takes a few seconds to power on, it's like it takes a moment to get enough power to function. The handles function well enough. The remote is kind of weak - aiming directly at it is the only way for it to get the signal - if you do it from the sides or back, you won't have any luck. Also, controls are very limited. If you need a solid color, easy enough. You want breathing lights, well, you're stuck with it cycling through all the colors. I just wanted it to breathe a single color, but I can't figure out any way to do it with the remote. Manually, forget it, it's very confusing to use the buttons that way. Good luck getting to a setting you want within 5 minutes. Programming it with DMX would probably/maybe get it to happen, but if you don't happen to have a board to do that with, then you're just out of luck.Overall, just kind of disappointed in it's lack of versatility and remote sensor power. It's ok as a light, but the price is really high for what it does.

Neat little LED light for the mobile disco. Great to set up a small stage or light up a dance floor. Everything is straight forward. Anyone who doesn't want to deal with DMX can simply use the included remote. The quality is okay for medium duty use. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.

I bought this for the functions we have in the sanctuary of our 1909 church. It’s very lightweight and portable, and really puts out the light. My favorite part is the control afforded by the remote, which offers a bunch of lovely colors. This is a great addition for White Rock Hall and I’m pleased with the purchase.

This thing is awesome. The remote works well. And the fact it's battery powered works very well for my needs. Seems like a very nice build quality and for the features the price point is great!. I will be buying a second one.

Very good quality basic rechargeable PAR. I like the inset power button - unlike other rechargeables where the on/off is a toggle switch that could be accidentally switched by just bumping up against it. All the remote functions work and it’s easy to just turn this light on and put it in auto or sound mode to start getting attention. The DMX functions all work as well. The manual is a little unclear about how channel 7 interacts with all the special effects in channel 6, but it’s easy to figure out once you get it hooked up.This unit is one where all the lights change color - making for a nice consistent output. Adding the UV option to the RGBW lights is a nice touch. The overall brightness is good for small to medium production use. The light is completely quiet and the charging led lights make it easy to tell how much charge is left. By using a wireless DMX receiver, you can deploy this light with DMX control completely wire-free.If you’re looking for a quality light of this size for a small venue, this one is a great value for the money!

Using this to light our tradeshow booth for an upcoming show - I love that it is rechargeable and no cables if you are forgoing DMX and want to use the remote or the button on the back. The battery life is pretty good (amazing really compared to what you would have had even 5 years ago) For a performance or similar the battery life is more than enough to get you through a show, but for booth lighting (not the normal use for this admittedly) it won't last the entire day, so we will have to have it tethered when we have limited power at our booth already. The light output is great at full brightness, but this eats your battery up the quickest. I feel this is a great value for the price, and anyone wanting something for gigs, shows, etc can't go wrong for the price.
