It fit perfectly when I replaced the failed factory unit, but once I started up my mower, a very annoying, shrill screeching sound has continued to scream, at least as loud as the mower's engine noise. I'll deal with it, I guess, as the performance otherwise is as good as anything I would hope to experience. At least it does the job.
