This is NOT a universal, one-size fits all item! THE DESIGN (SHAPE) is an exact equivalent of the OEM, including all details. This will FIT JUST LIKE OEM but LOOK WAY BETTER! Detailed instructions for installation are included.
The mounting hardware is not included, you need to re-use the mounting hardware found on your stock item. No modification or trimming required for most items at all. Minor adjustments might be necessary if the item is a cover that needs to be glued to the underlying panel. Most armrest covers are slide-on and feature flat elastic on the bottom holding the cover to the armrest without glue. In select cases, due to the shape of the armrest lid, elastic is not feasible and such armrest covers needs to be glued. Please contact us in case of any questions.

Felt compelled to write a review after reading some of the others. Install was incredibly easy with no instructions needed... pretty intuitive for the mechanically minded (ex... see screw -> remove screw, replace cover, reverse screw removal). Removal of the old cover was easy as was gluing on this replacement. I used a high-temp hot glue gun... we'll see if that stands up the the summer heat...My only complaint about this is fit... I unfortunately didn't test it, but it almost appeared as if the cover could/would just fit over the old one... if not, the cutouts on the leather didn't quite alight or were too long. I used wire cutters to make clips where needed. For alignment, I highly recommend paying attention to the threads on top of the armrest as opposed to the cutouts on the bottom as they're uneven (so aren't reliable for alignment).For my first and only (hopefully) armrest cover replacement, this was super easy and looks like it could have been the original with slight imperfections due only to my install. I'd have given this 5 stars if the cutouts/fit didn't require modification... since 5 stars to me implies perfect/ready to install as-is.

2 stars deducted for terrible installation instructions.Before you order, CAREFULLY review the installation instructions on the manufacturer's website. The photos are tiny and the instructions are terrible, but after looking at the photos vs. YOUR armrest, you should (?) be able to tell if you have the right armrest that will allow you to install this cover. The instructions talk about the "Zeta" armrest as being the only one the cover will fit. I have NO IDEA what armrest I have - it's the one that was in the Honda Fit I bought brand new in 2011. I was finally able to figure out that my armrest "lid" (where the cover goes) attaches in a completely different way than the ones in the pictures. I wasn't able to find ANY instructions online for detaching and reattaching the part of the armrest that the cover would go on for my car. Therefore, I chose to return it because I can't install it.All that frustration aside, this is a beautiful armrest cover. Soft, genuine leather with impeccable stitching. It just adds to my frustration that I couldn't make this armrest cover work and there is nothing else on the market I can find that is this quality.

This item upon receipt was very nice but there is a big problem with this item because there is no foam pad on the leather so once I ripe the old cover off, it will be leather to plastic...no type of cousion at all. They could have at least provided us with a foam piece to stick it on there or better yet already include the foam for use that is glued and ready to go.anyways, the quality is good but the lack of the foam is a big issue.
