Real noisey and I don't expect the gears to last long. Buy a better quality one. Avoid this one.

I have several similar hoists from HFreight and need another. I noticed this was a good bit cheaper than the HFreight one so tried it out. It’s basically the same lift.Works great lifting a 100 lb piece of equipment that stores on the wall of my shop.These hoists are perfect for attaching to a shop ceiling and hoisting gear or bicycles up and out of the way for storage. Make sure to use the “doubler” pulley for hoisting heavier loads.

This electric 440Lb hoist was just what I needed for our garage. It was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. The build quality is solid, and it operates smoothly. I used this to lift up a garage overhead storage and this was the perfect device to make that work. Would recommend to anyone looking to add this to their workshop or garage. Great value for the price.

I purchased this to hang in the lean to portion of my workshop. We use it for a multiple list of things. Lifting heavy equipment into the back of our side by side, to using it to hoist deer for processing. You can't beat the price.
