Seems to hold a charge commensurate with what is labeled. Charging well so far after 5 or 6 charges.

Im using this in my mower (not to be confused with mamoa, no Jason here). This battery works great for me. I've fully discharged and recharged it 5 times at this point and it still goes hard. I was mowing down 7 inch grass as well doing it in 2 passes the first one propped up and the second fully on the ground. While doing that, it only got mad and shut off once. The Kobalt battery does it a lot. I believe the claim that its 6ah. The Kobalt brand battery I had was 5, and I can mow my full back yard with this new one. The price.... its wonderful. I went to Lowes to purchase a 4ah, they were asking $179. I've seen some bad reviews, but my experience has not aligned with them.

The battery fit and functioned with my Kobalt mower, and for about half the price of a new battery from Kobalt. The only issue I have is that with a full charge (fresh off the charger), it drops to about 3/4 charge within a couple of minutes of mowing, which my original Kobalt one didn't do. I have a small yard and can still complete the full job on a charge, but I wonder if I will still be able to as the battery degrades in the future, as they all do. 3 stars since it does the job and saved me some money, but doesn't seem to be as good of quality or as long-lasting.

I had really high hopes for this battery after reading other reviews. Mine isn’t so great. It charges quickly but dies just as quick. It won’t hold a charge, dies within 30 minutes of mowing. With my original kobalt battery, I was able to mow my small yard on a full charge and still have battery left. I now have to buy another battery, this time I’m going back to a genuine kobalt.
