Too small when trying to adjust it it doesn’t stay it comes back to a down position seeing the rear tire instead of the road

Mirrors are a good fit! However the cover for the bolts do not fit, the plastic tabs snapped right off when trying to install. They don’t line up with the holes on the mirror itself either.
