My old board for my rheem ac/heat unit burnt out my husband installed this one and we've been running ever since. It was just what we needed.

I originally thought my fan motor had died. The motor didn't respond to 24VAC control signals on any of the 5 pins. A new programmed motor cost ~$300+, so before I bought a new motor I decided to try the motor controller PC board and the motor is now working fine. It turns out the optoisolator on my orig board was bad. It's a $0.50 part I got from DigiKey, so I replaced it and now have a spare control board that I hope I don't need.

no instruction at all how to proper install this had to get a tech to come out and put it on so I wouldn't mess anyting up or cause more damage this thing failed just should of called the tech in the first place

This was a great snap in fit replacement for a failed 47-102077-05 control board (multi-diode/op-AMP failure seems commons with this Rheem part). Makes me wonder if manufacturer should also be paying for crazy ac tech labor cost considering wide spread failures and markets for these parts online. There was some terminal name matching from old part to new part (XFMR-C = COM2; XFMR-R = 24V) but plugs right in and appears to have fixed the issue. The initial failure symptoms can be subtle but you will notice your RHLL Rheem air handler (X-13 blower motor) would start to randomly/irregularly cycle on/off multiple times after a regular cooling cycle ended and compressor (outdoor unit) shuts off. This will happen until the expensive X-13 motor dies, particularly if you have short run/off cycles every 5min, which I have seen multiple people experiencing w Rheem/Rudd products made/assembled in Mexico. After the crazy rotting coil / blocked atv valve recall, which also resulted in blower/motor replacement, I was again faced w a brand new Rheem system broken (again) which would have ran me $300+ in just labor cost alone considering that's not covered under warranty after 2 yrs.

Works as should. Replaced my original board with no problem. There were extra mounting holes on the frame to fit this board.
