Rider Sets Description:
The original riding position of the R 1200 RT-LC is not universally comfortable for all riders (tall riders have different requirements than smaller riders). We provide the components for each rider to "fine-tune" the riding position and posture to his/her own personal needs. The rider set will move the footrests ~ 30 mm (1.18") down and slightly forwards. The change in footrest position will increase the knee and hip angle, a benefit especially when touring. Better blood circulation and less cramps will make a full-to-empty tank ride much more enjoyable. The kit is made of CNC machined and silver anodized high quality aluminum alloy and comes with all components needed.
When lowering the footpegs, the gear shifter and rear brake lever need to also be lowered accordingly. Our kit includes the hardware necessary to lower the rear brake. The shifter is lowered by adjusting the shift linkage.
Doesn't require any modifications to the original support.
Note: Fitting any footrest lowering kit may cause reduced cornering clearance. Please ride accordingly!

R 1250 RT. This worked as you would expect. the only downside is that the 1 inch of forward position makes the shift level and brake level a little different and not as natural feeling. I would have preferred just a 1 inch lower and not 1 inch forward. But it does get the job done.

They do what they are supposed to do. The instructions suck, but it was not hard to install. Clutch lever adjustment did not have enough length on the stock threaded rod to put it in similar position to stock in relation to the peg, but I can live with it. Nice thing is that the kickstand is harder to deploy as the bar is not as prominent, and less likely to accidentally knock it into first because the clutch lever sits a bit higher than the peg. Definitely more comfortable than stock.

Kit is the same as the name brands but half the price! Does not come with instructions but there are videos on YouTube
