5 stars for product - perfect for outdoor weatherproof outlet boxes with plastic covers attempting to hold the straight-line plugs on many irrigation and lighting timers. Ding 1 star for virtually worthless instructions. As attached photos show, the white inner workings are held in by one screw. The black case's 2 screws are simply to clamp the cable. The stripping guide is accurate in the 1/2 inch for the conductor, but the Insulation has to be 1 inch to reach the farthest connection. I disassembled the white case to show the inner workings - you don't need to. Just strip the wires as I indicated. Loosed the connector screws, which backs off the light metal plate on the screw. Insert the stripped connectors and a bit of the insulation into the holes and tighten the screws. Select the blade orientation and remount the white into the black with the single screw. Mount the black cable clamp with the two screws. Done.

Just like the Title Description says these are quality great replacements for almost any small 110volt window air conditioning units. Bought these because the reset type breaker plugs on my air conditioners on 2 of them one day tripped/shut off and when you would try to push the reset button to get the unit itself working again, it would not stay switched like the button was broke. Now this was on a three month old air conditioner so I knew the air conditioner couldn’t have been broken already and like I said I had another air conditioner window unit that did the same thing so I found these on here and rolled the dice and replaced them on both units, And now both units are working again. It’s safe to do this because if something happens or is wrong with the air conditioner after you replace the plug, you still have the circuit breaker at the panel that will trip/shut off if there is a fault/problem that is still within the air conditioner unit itself.

The original plug on my toaster oven went bad. I bought a replacement plug, but it did not fit well with the flat power cable that was on the toaster oven. I had to use electrical tape to seal the plug opening where the cable goes in. I did not like this. So I bought this plug and thought I would give it a shot. It fit perfectly, and the cable clamps tighten to an almost perfect fit with the flat cable. I wish I had bought this plug to start with.

I have a couple outdoor receptacles that are mounted horizontally and the cord needs to go out the bottom and that is a challenge. These keep the cord flat and turned the best way to work and still able to shut the weather cover. Also works for tight spaces behind benches and furniture etc. preventing smashing the plug and/or receptacle.

Just what I needed to fix my mini fridge. Thought the fridge was going bad but it was just the plug. I replaced it with this one and bam it’s fixed and ready. I like the ability to adjust the angle. I would buy again.

Magnífico accesorio valió la pena la espera, aunque debo decirlo llego antes de lo previsto. Encontré localmente una similar pero sin el accesorio de la tierra física que es tan útil en aparatos electricos/electrónicos, la cual no compré y esperé pacientemente mi pedido. Me agrada porque así evito que el cable adaptado sea un obstáculo porque esta clavija va casi pegada a la pared. La volvería a comprar en caso necesario aunque sean caras. La recomiendo por ser robusta y funcional.

I got them to make cord flush to the wall to reduce tripping behind a work bench. The ability to change the angle allowed them to be used for the top and bottom of the outlet without them interfering with each other. Will likely get more.

A lot better than I thought they would be. Going to use them for a power cable upgrade on vintage amp. They will work very well. Heavy built.
