My wife's Kia Borrego has under 300K Km on it. The engine has been developing a bit of a rattle. I wasn't sure if the VVT's were part of the problem or not, but there also seemed to be some oil leaking around the driver's side one, so I thought I would give these a shot.Replacement was very easy on this truck as they are easily accessible. They were an identical replacement for the originals in the vehicle which was great. The valves are not as noisy as they were, but there is still a rattle present, so more more is required (not seeing any codes which is good). At a cost of $52 for both the left and right side it was an easy decision to start here, and there was an incremental improvement so I am happy. Time to head back to the garage and do some more tinkering on the old girl...and maybe check the truck out some more too.
