I, like a lot of people, use bungees all the time. For everything from holding a tarp up to securing a tarp on a load to holding open a door. My bungees were getting old and some of them began cracking from the Texas sun. I saw this pack and decided to replenish my supplies and get rid of the damaged and broken ones I already had. I used one of these to hold a milk crate to the side of the truck bed and it worked great. It had a little bit of stretch in it and two nice shiny new hooks. It worked just fine for me and is holding great. These do not show signs of cracking when they are stretched. They look and feel brand new from the embossed lettering to the shiny metal hooks. These are made in the USA and they are working great for me.
