This is an intuitive kit that is a deterrent for potential thieves. See the extremely long aircraft-grade steel cable wrapped around everything around my cat is definitely intimidating. Plus, the long "clamp" thing makes it where if they just cut cable, it won't loosen itself completely. I'm staying in a area for my job that isn't the nicest place on earth and nobody has taken my 4x4 Jeep's cat. Its easier for them to just move onto the next vehicle...

This is a heavy weight steel plate with a bunch of cables you attach to it to secure your cat so it can't be stolen. My husband immediately noted it doesn't truly secure your cat because a determined thief would just cut the cables but I guess the idea is to make it harder to steal then your neighbors so would be thrives would just move on from your vehicle. My husband found it very frustrating to install so we actually ended up not using it because it didn't come with any kind of instructions and we had no idea how to install it. The amount of cables was just too much.
