It is the worst. I would like to give it a big zeroI bought it because of the look of it online and price but should have paid attention to the reviews but I’m hardheaded and therefore I figured I could make it work but it’s total garbage .The lid does not fully close due to a complete manufacturer DEFECTI wish that Amazon would do the right thing and remove this item from their siteMost people don’t want to go to the trouble and expense of returning as was my caseI promise you it is awful !

I got it and the henge from the back was just a bit over up and was not flat on the seat. I had to put my old part henge on the new one to make it fit. Overall it was ok. It probably was for a deferent toilet seat cover.

they looked nice. they left a gap between the seat and the lid but I could live with that. But after less than one year on hinge broke making the whole thing useless.

Finally! Metal hinge for my throne seat. The plastic ones always break. Months in, no broken hinges. Great quality and price.

Sounds like an insult but it’s not. What I mean is that the toilet seat we have is a decorative style and because of that it’s thinner. With this hinge, the seat doesn’t sit flush (so to speak) with the toilet rim at the back. As a result the back of the seat is at least 3/4 of an inch too high. So when someone sits on it, the weight will be on the hinge instead of the whole seat.The hinge itself is great, sturdy and definitely worth the money. Very easy to install though in my case I needed to drill a few new holes to make it fit. When you have custom decorative hinges like these you’ll almost always need to make small adjustments when using a replacement hinge.It’ll eventually get worn out or damaged. Unfortunately this item was the only thing that matched what was on there before. I used the thinnest washer that would work to try to bring the back down but it’s still off a bit.

These hinges were delivered on 9/12 and installed right away on the same day. They replaced a broken set of plastic hinges original to the seat. The screw holes lined up nicely with original ones making for easy installation. The hinges seemed to be a sturdy well made item. However, the morning of 10/2 the hinge on the left side popped having broken across the screw hole. I definitely can not recommend this product.

One of the end pieces that holds everything together was missing. I contacted the seller and they said they can't even send me the missing piece, that I have to go through Amazon for a refund. Ugh.Aso, as another reviewer stated, it does not fit properly. The bottom seat isn't flush against the toilet base and the lid and seat has a huge gap. I tried it every which way to make sure it wasn't user error. It wasn't. They also didn't line up properly with the holes.Only giving it two stars bc the actual quality of the hinges themselves is good.

The product was very well made and heavy duty. The shortcoming was that, the description said “fits most” toilet seats. If they had given thickness of tops I would have known if it fit. Sadly had to return it.
