These shorts are just amazing for the price! Totally worth it. The compression lining quality is top-notch, with a double mesh design that not only feels great but also keeps everything in place. The fabric is lightweight and dries super fast, which is perfect if you’re into swimming or surfing.I use these shorts not just at the pool but also at the gym, and they perform really well! The adjustable waistband with the drawstring and elastic means they won’t slide down while I’m working out, which is a huge plus. I got these for my husband for a vacation. I did not have high hopes at all, but they turned out to be excellent. They are simple, look good, have a little stretch and he said they are very comfortable. It is hard to find swim shorts for a 44 waist that don't have some ugly pattern or cargo pockets (not sure why clothing companies seem to think anyone over a 36 waist needs 18 pockets on all shorts and pants but...). I will be ordering a second pair of the green and probably the black and grey. Recommend!

I own plenty of swim trunks and they all work of course. Some are a bit more comfortable, although I wouldn’t say any are uncomfortable. Some also have features that are useful in some situations, such as zippered pockets, but for those that don’t have the feature they still work well in the gym or backyard pool. But, I will say that these Scotamalone swim trunks are the best ones that I now own.To start with, there’s a compression lining on the inside rather than the perhaps more common mesh interior. I find these more comfortable. There’s a pocket on the lining, although I haven’t felt the need to use that yet. I do appreciate that there are zippered side pockets and a back pocket with a velcro strap. While I don’t need pockets when using the pool at the gym, I definitely want a secure pocket when I’m on a cruise or at the beach to be able to hold a cabin key or a credit card. I definitely need to remember to bring the appropriate swim trunks when packing for a vacation. Lastly, the cord used to secure the waist can either be tied from the exterior or interior depending if you use the extra two grommets or not. All in all a perfect set of features.I would normally take a size XL and these fit as I expected/hoped they would. The drawstring closure would allow one even a bit too large to be useable, but these were sized appropriately. I am much taller than average and these were a good length on me. Not board shorts length long, at least not on me.The only perhaps downside for some might be the color options. Mostly darker, solid colored options. The navy was perfectly fine for me, and I really don’t have any loud or brightly colored ones Even the ones that I own that have patterns have a more subdued pattern.I absolutely can wholeheartedly recommend these Scotamalone men’s swim trunks. Comfortable with the compression linking, zippered size pockets, back pocket with velcro closure flap and sized appropriately.
