  • Sealing: The AN thread of the flare is sealed by a 37 degree angle and the NPT is sealed with a 60 degree tapered. It is highly recommended to use sealant or PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene tape) at the NPT port.

I was able to install this fitting with no issues. It did not strip and all ends threaded in well. I do not have any leaks using it at the moment. I have no complaints - it just worked.

I've found AN fittings to be so much better for custom fuel systems (I'm a WVO guy). These work very well for adding senders, like fuel pressure or temperature senders.These SDTC Tech fittings are pretty standard. Nothing special, but work great.But why two bags? There is enough plastic in this world already!
