Bought a 1993 GTX for 500 that hasn't been run in 8 years. Flushed all the old gas out, put new gas in. Took a while, finally got it running, although I had to use starting fluid. Go to put it in the water, wouldn't start. Not even with starting fluid. Get back home, and was able to get it started, but then it wouldn't shut off with either kill switch. Traced wires back to MPEM. Kill ckt is good. Replaced the MPEM. Now it starts right up without starting fluid(I thought it was just a worn motor) and shuts off!! Only wish is that the OEM fuse covers with spare fuse holder would fit on this MPEM.

Exchanged the wires for like colors and it started right up! Didn't have spark before and now no problem at all! One ground wire to the coil and the positive lead from the battery had ring terminals that were too small - I found that snipping them into a "C" instead of an "O" helped to slip it right over the terminal without any apparent loss of function.

Worked great on my 1992 gts seadoo. Looked different then OEM one but worked great. Mine has 2 relays on top this has 2 fuses but it works now my ski is back to normal with this new unit.
