I bought this cushion to use on a soft, over stuffed chair that always aggravated my sciatica and spinal issues. It works beautifully. I can sit for long periods without the pain I used to get without it. Recommend.

Good but doesn't help my back condition because they cut out isn't large enough and it isn't firm enough.

I fell a while back and bruised my tail bone. This really helped me be able to sit down easier. I recommend it to anyone with the same problem.

If you suffer from chronic lower back pain, this will be a great buy since it will make all your seating sessions much more tolerable and comfortable. I use it for driving, and when I exit my car, I take it with me wherever I go if I know that I have to sit. This ensures that no matter how uncomfortable the seats are, this cushion will fix that for me.

Literally straight out of of the box my daughter decided set a set of chocolate chip on it which I did not see when I sat down and my warmth melted it straight in. So the cover got washed on its very first day and it did just fine. It is super super thick and super plush and gives me a lot of sacrum relief. I have a lot of problems with my lower back and the connections down there and this makes anytime I have to sit at the computer a lot easier. I like the shape a lot. It gives me a lot of comfort and relief. A+ especially for durability

I've tried an obscene number of seat cushions with tailbone cutout over the last few months, all in what felt like an increasingly futile attempt to replace my old standby after something changed in my most recently received cushion (different foam maybe?).I'm happy to say that this is the BEST of the bunch for my needs! The manufacturer seems to have discovered the sweet spot between soft memory foam and firm high-density support, allowing this cushion to feel soft and comforting to the parts pressed against it while still providing support to keep the tailbone pressure free and allowing the lumbar to decompress. I think they may have combined the two? However they managed it, it's lovely, esp for those of us with debilitating spine issues that force us to spend the majority of our days (and nights!) in a recliner! It helps to alleviate pain from the caudal sack & coccyx/tailbone as well as aiding in lumbar & SI decompression.There is an optional strap included to attach this to a chair or car seat, however it is rather tall so it may not be the best choice for the car unless you're able to adjust the height of the seat. My electric seat adjuster apparently died, and I have my seat at the highest setting (short girl problems!), so unless I have that repaired I likely won't be able to use this in the car for my upcoming long distance move. Boo!I'd also suggest ordering a darker color rather than the very pretty mint green, only because it shows every speck of dirt. I have pets and drink a ton of tea, so it was in need of a wash within a week. Not ideal! I might need to test covers from other cushions to see if any will fit.I haven't had enough time with it yet to determine if the materials used are high enough quality to withstand the abuse I'll put it through, but I'll be sure to come back and update the review if it fails within a year!I highly recommend this as one of the best I've tried (more than a dozen) in the last few months! Very happy to have found this gem!

QUICK LOOK: My daughter spends a lot of time on her computer for both college and gaming. She'd been complaining about her lower back and some tailbone issues due to the amount of time she's in the chair during the course of the week. Even with walking breaks it was not so great. We got this cushion for her chair hoping it would supply some relief and I'm happy to report it's been working great. I've actually used the cushion myself a few times in my "high-end" gaming chair and it took the chair from being great to amazing with another level of comfort.The cushion is well constructed with all seams and stitching looking great and holding up well. The cushion also doesn't slide around on the chair very much (occasionally needs adjusted after getting up). We've washed the cover a few times and the cover is still in great shape even after multiples washes.The cushion also remains comfortable even in extended sessions and maintains its padding level even after multiple weeks of use - with no signs of it losing its support ability.THE GOOD STUFF:- Well constructed- Adds a significant level of comfort- Cover holds up even after multiple washes- Stays in place with little effort- In the price range of other quality offeringsTHE NOT SO GOOD STUFF:- Nothing to report here
