This part works with the SE106 drive and Mercruiser alpha drives from 1984-1990 with the short (15-9/16) cylinder body. There are two different lengths for the same year range, so verify fitment before purchasing.

No problems except for a slight defect on the threading on one of the hydraulic fittings. Made it a bit difficult to install but was easy to fix on the bench and it does not leak. Works fine but I have only used it for about a month so far. Time will tell if it holds up.
