My kids love playing with these. I think constantly deflating them to watch them reinflate actually builds hand strength too. They are like giant stress balls or very small dodge balls. It's good for backyard games involving tossing and learning to catch. We have been enjoying ours for months now.

I got a ball in a different color for my family’s Easter baskets. They were such a huge hit!The colors are very fun, and I like the amount of variety they have for colors. The material is like a playground ball you’d use for 4-square. But when you squeeze it, it re-inflated like a sponge. I know that doesn’t sound very impressive but when you play with it, you find yourself squishing it often just because it’s such a unique feeling to have it re-inflate in your hands.I also love that there’s not really a sound it makes when inflating or deflating. I had worried it might be a little bit “dog toy”-sounding.They come in cute little boxes too, so you can feel the actual ball while it’s in the box. So it would make a good gift. You really can’t go wrong with this!

Additionally, it is important to note that these balls are not pet-safe; our dog managed to get hold of one, resulting in damage. Overall, while these self-inflating balls offer great fun for children, careful supervision is advised to ensure their longevity and safety.

Surprising good ball. I was pretty skeptical about a ball that is bouncy and squishy and deflates but automatically re-inflates... as I've always had to use the need for these type of balls. This is a bit heavier than a traditional ball of the same size, but it works shockingly well. It's bounce is like a 3.5-4/5 compared to a traditional ball, but it is so durable and worry free. For most things this is spot on for a traditional ball, other than smashing it at a handball court this this is great. This is basically the best ball for kids to play with since it is basically indestructible, my daughter loves that it is pink too.

This ball comes already fully inflated. You can squeeze the ball and deflate it to the extent you squeeze it, and then as soon as you let go, the ball self-inflates again. Neat. I presume that as long as the ball doesn't tear, it will always be inflated.I would not describe this ball as especially bouncy, but it does have a good bounce. I'd say that pickle balls have very low bounce and a basketball has a descent bounce. Going straight by feel and not any sort of test, this ball's bounce seems in the range of a basketball. That's plenty bouncy for lots of games. I spent some time bouncing the ball against a wall and hard floor and the ball was fun to play with.I don't have enough experience with the ball yet to know how it would hold up to outdoor play. Would it get torn up? Hard to say, but the ball has a nice heft and thick rubber feel to it. I expect the ball to hold up just fine to normal wear and tear.But that does lead me to my biggest issue with the situation - which is that this ball is advertised as a dodge ball. I think the ball has too much weight and firmness to it to be acceptable for dodge ball -- unless you really hated the other team? This is purely a subjective determination, but when I saw that the ball was advertised as a dodge ball, I was thinking that it would feel more like one of those yoga exercise balls, which wouldn't hurt... Bottom line: I don't know, maybe hard core dodge ball players would find this ball perfect. I personally wouldn't recommend kids play dodge ball with it.If you are talking games other than dodge ball, I think this is a very nice ball that kids and even adults would enjoy.
