Is somewhat offsize - this spool doesn't lock into the cap properly. When trying to use it, the spool flew out & unwound. It looks the same as Black & Decker's but I've already tried 3 different spools and no fit!

Electric weed eater is pretty good - replacing threads a nuisance but if they cost no more than pack of gum, one finds the matter less annoying. The old story of razor/razor blade is nifty business concept but with lots of "expendables" that bring back user for continuous spending, equal quality "generic" stuff is now great part of consumer spending. I don't know these people - or where they are. But Black and Decker probably do - while they watch their lunch and dinner go out the door. I recall this outfit had lots of similar items - a few minutes online and you can probably rethread your squash racket and the hay baler - cheap!

I hate buying spools for my weed wacker. The stores never have the right ones in stock, and I end up going to several stores before I find what I need. The weed wacker will probably need to be replaced before I run out of spoils now, and the price was not that much more for the 12 spools here than the packages of two I get at my hardware store. They fit and work fine!
