This is a fantastic mower blade sharpener. It is very high quality. The arms that guide that guide the 4 1/2" grinder are made of steel and do not flex. The description of this sharpener states that it only holds and sharpens blades that are 7cm to 14cm width blades. This is not true. This sharpener will sharpen blades down to 4.5 cm wide. In order to sharpen the narrower blades, the adjusting bolt with nerled handle has to be removed from holder and the sliding securing blade holder had to be removed and turned 180 degrees and securing adjusting nerled bolt reinstalled.There are more expensive sharpen sharpeners listed on Amazon with higher reviews but are poot quality. They state arm bearings are ball bearings. The arms which hold bearing mounts are light square aluminum tube and the bearing holder are plastic held into tubes with single pop rivet. The arm have a lot of flex when trying to sharpen blade.This sharpener will accurately sharpen your mower with good sharp cutting edge. It takes a little practice and good judgement.The set up and angle adjustment is very easy. Blades are easily installed in sharpener and are secure. I highly recommend this sharpener.

It is sturdy and well built and did exactly what is needed. The only downside is that my package had no instructions on use, so I had to go to youtube to find video. But it sharpened my blades (using flap disc sander) very well and once set up, it doesn't take much time to do.

This sharpening jig is well made and works great however, there are no instructions at all in the box. The Youtube video that sold me on one of these jigs is what I needed to watch to set this up when it arrived. I added two approximately 5/16" spacers as shown in the photos which allow my blades to be set up each time so that I can put a 30-degree angle on my mower blades. In the photo, even with these spacers, I still had to set to 40-degrees to get a 30-degree angle. I use a 60-grit flap disc on my Makita 4" angle grinder. The jig does an excellent job, fast, and the blades were well balanced when complete. Bought this to keep my mower blades sharpened. Once setup it takes no time to sharpen blades and games you lots of time doing it. Worth the price

Affordable, functional and easy to use. It took a few minutes to get the hang of it but after I got I love it. It will pay for itself in what I spend on lawnmower blades.
