Making chocolate bars is so much fun, and using these molds is no exception, though perhaps a little trickier.I have several kinds of molds for making chocolate, some are bars like these but a different design. These bars turn out large, so you need a lot of chocolate, unless of course you fill them with something. In my case I made a layer of dark chocolate and then made another layer with sweetened shredded coconut, then filled the remainder of the mold with more dark chocolate. They came out beautifully (I forgot to take a photo before my family consumed them!) and of course tasted great.The reason for my 4 start rather than 5 star review has to do with the thinness of the silicone. Some molds are made with a heavier-weight silicone that maintain their shape a bit better. These required a baking sheet or small tray beneath to keep them from spilling. Other than that, they are fine and I plan to use them repeatedly.

This is great for making filled chocolate bars. The chocolate comes out of the mold super easily and is easy to clean as well.

These are a little on the thin/flimsy side but they hold their shape well enough when filling with chocolate to be usable.

If you (like we) have fallen for the Dubai-style chocolate trend, these molds will help you produce your own chocolate bars at home. Using chocolate melting wafers and toasted kataifi makes it pretty easy to reproduce the viral treat that retailers can't keep on the shelves. Once the Dubai-style chocolate phase runs its course, these will still be a great tool for making plain chocolate or chocolates with other fillings! We prefer to use the molds with squares over the ones with the more abstract faceted appearance because it makes it easier to portion. We also like to get green chocolate melts to drizzle inside the mold before pouring the bulk of the chocolate to create a more decorative look.

These molds make stuffed chocolate bars not only possible but easy to do. The thickness is perfect for durability but not so thick you can’t pop out the chocolate bars with ease. I like having a classic bar next to a pretty bar too, the classic is easier to split, while the pretty one makes a nice single person gift. I also really appreciate getting two molds for the price, being able to make 4 at once is more worth my time than only two at a time and idk, buying more than one separately doesn’t feel like a deal ha. Girl math.
