4.5 stars because $9 seems a little high priced for one 7 oz silicone collapsing cup. The lid is meant to keep it clean when collapsed, it’s not meant to be a storage cup. It will slowly drip if left on its side. It’s a great travel bathroom cup or perfect for any outing. I don’t trust hotel glasses are washed and clean, so I like having my own. I had a small cup that was not silicone yet collapses, it broke so this is my replacement. Once this cup is collapsed it’s still a little bulky. It can hold a maximum of 7 ounces. It is not rigid and can be squeezed so it’s not ideal for very small children. It has a little string wrist lanyard on the lid.

Cute and handy, makes a pretty solid seal but I would be very careful using it to transport liquids because it has not structural support obviously. I like that is actually extends fully instead of kind of sagging on itself like a lot of cheaper collapsible cups. I'm going to keep this on hand for giving dogs water when out and about

Super little cup with a thin wrist strap. A macaroon cup is a great name for these little pastel (comes in five colors) collapsible cups. The cup holds about six ounces. Excellent for hiking, travel or even just tossing in your purse.. These are cute little cups that would be great for kids to be to have and carry on a trip.

This cup is small. If you are really tight on space, or wanting something that is specific to a child, this might be good, but I would rather have something a bit bigger. The silicon material of the cup is good, and the metal rim gives it structure. It has a hard, shiny, plastic lid that isn't made from very nice material, but it fits fine, and does the job of keeping debris out of your drink.

This cup is so well built. The silicone is soft and flexible but thick enough that it is sturdy and will not collapse onto itself without you prompting it. It also has a metal ring around the lip of the cup, which I think further keeps it sturdy and stable. I didn’t buy it for camping but I definitely see how this would be excellent for camping. Great find!

From the moment I first opened the box I could tell that this a very well made and designed cup. It is very lightweight and collapses to about 1.25" in width so it is very compact.I love to bike out in Nature. And part of my ritual out there is to pack a lunch that I can eat while enjoying my surroundings. Up until yesterday I would bring along my metal hiking cup to mix some instant iced tea powder and enjoy a sweet drink with my meal. The downsize to carrying the metal cup is that it is bulkier, heavier and has no cover. The cover part is very important out there. Many a time I have reached for the cup without looking at it first, only to feel something sliding down my throat that was NOT iced tea. Or I have looked first only to find that some winged critter decided my cup would make a great outdoor swimming pool. So then I have to become a "wilderness lifeguard" to try and rescue the drowning winged opportunist. Whenever possible I do gently extract them and set them aside to dry off and go on their way. Unless it is a mosquito. Absolutely no mercy from me if it is a mosquito. Long story!Yesterday I took my new cup for a "field test". The volume in this cup is less than my metal cup so I just did a refill after my first cup. (I like to stay well hydrated while biking). The lid fits snuggly (the cup has a metal ring at the top) and the cup stays upright when full. I honestly cannot find a thing that I did not like about it.This cup will also become indispensable when I travel oversees again. In my many foreign travels I have come across the quintessential water fountain in the town square (not the decorative type but the functional one that the locals gather drinking water from). Usually the water comes from some far off spring up in the mountains or it is snow melt. Either way, the water is always cold, crystal clear and delicious. Normally I've had to cup my hands (maybe not all that clean) to sample the water. Now I can drink my fill in a more sanitary way.For my lifestyle this a very welcomed and useful cup!For those with children it a handy cup to keep in the glove compartment. If you are a student, it a good thing to keep in your school bag for those occasions when a schoolmate is willing to share some of their "Big Gulp" soda.

For my backpacking breakfast, a 6oz capacity cup like this is sufficient, but rather minimal. This one has small ticks for measurement marks (in mL), which might come in handy.I've got a number of these collapsible cups and they each have different levels of smell and liquid retention and collapsiblity. This one is one of the less collapsible, but it also has fewer grooves which tend to retain liquid and is less stinky. I have one that is designed to be smooth on the inside putting the grooves on the outside, which is my favorite. This one went with the fashionable choice of smooth on the outside and grooves on the inside. Retaining liquid in the grooves lengthens the dry time. The cup is stiff enough to put the lid on it without collapsing it.The actual weight of this cup is 58g (2.0oz). I don't need the lid as I pack my cup in my cook kit, but it adds 9g if desired. The lanyard is another 1g. It is not the lightest I have found of this size by 10g.

My plastic collapsible cup cracked after many years of use, and in looking for a replacement, I noticed that many of the travel cups these days are made of silicone, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's easy to open and collapse, and the lid stays on well -- so well in fact that when I put water in the cup and turned it upside down, it didn't leak. The metal rim is nice -- you don't have to worry about the cup folding in and spilling when you pick it up. There are measurement marks inside the cup, but they are extremely hard to read -- this is not something I need, but if that is important to you, you will likely be disappointed with this feature. There is a little loop on the lid to attach an enclosed lanyard. Since the lid is a firmer material and not flexible, I wonder how well the loop on the lid will hold up over time, or if it will bend and crack off eventually. This feature is not important to me, and it's not something that should impact how the lid fits.
